Yes they accommodate children and you can have your crab cracked for your kids of course it cost a little extra but it's worth it.
Yes
I don't recall fish in the floor what I do know is their food is amazing especially usually the dirty crab or the garlic noodles . Been their 10 times but I've never noticed fish in the floor.
No, casual is fine
Bcuz it be so much traffic so it's best to take uber less hassle. 👍🏾
No. You really don't.
Yes we are open
It is based on market price. We went on 2/12/18 and the crab was $52.
No tennis shoes, nice show up
Yes you can order to go, but you have to go into the restaurant and order at the bar. They do not accept phone orders.
Place is famous for roasted crab and garlic noodles - yup! They were really good. Service is below par. Deco could be improved. The tables are too small and more cafe sized - run out of table space if they bring 2 dishes per table.
More and more delicious everytime we go. The service is impeccable and the staff is so safe and warm.
I always get mussle, beef skew, salmon carpaccio, roast crab, garlic noodle.
Crab cakes were supposed to come with grilled eggplant - but there was no eggplant. Ordered soup but had to ask for a spoon and the soup had cooled by the time the spoon was supplied. Flatware was removed from table so we had to ask for it to be replaced in order to be able to eat the entree that was already on the table. Plates removed too quickly (some were still eating) so that we felt rushed. We were not impressed and do not plan to return. However, they were quick to replenish wine when we asked!
The service and food was great, we had garlic roasted crab and they were considerably small for this season.
Crab is cooked and prepared perfectly. Excellent professional service and delicious food. My favorite crab restaurant in California.
Go the baked crab and garlic noodles, signature dish. It is something else, top class. Crab price is market rate but around $60usd. It's a big crab!
This place serves the best butter roasted crab, wine and service in town. This is a great place to take friends and family. It will have them questioning their trust in your judgement, But will soon reassert their trust in your restaurant recommendations.
Definitely a spot worth stopping over, the food is great and well prepared, the rates are reasonable and it is always well kept here. Kudos.
First time here, but will be back to try other items on the menu. My niece and shared an order of shrimp toast, and garlic noodles and we each decided on the famous roasted crab. All the food was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. We saved room for dessert a baked Alaska and an order of fried bananas. Yum!!
Gold standard for Dungeness crab. And the garlic noodles are too good to share.
One of best restaurants I've ever tried!Fusion of French and Vietnamese cuisine! It has the best garlic crab and garlic noodle combination that I've tried. It holds up its name -- Crustecean which means crab!Must visit when you are in San Francisco or Los Angeles!
I have walked past this restaurant for years. We are trying our best to support local restaurants so we gave this a go. I thought PPQ was better but I had to try the original. This place was definitely better. The roast crab was much much better than I expected. Pricey but worth it. I think PPQ's garlic noodles was more to my taste but that's just preference. For folks who think the food is too oily, you're in the wrong place. Or at least ask them to separate the butter from the crab. Otherwise, it is good food even if I had to pick it up and eat the food 15 mins after leaving the restaurant. Definitely worth the $90 for 2 people who have monster appetite.
Good food. Good prices. Good service. Different appetizers and main courses. Pleasant ambiance.
The food was delicious and the service incredible. Friendly staff and good location. We drove in all the way from Sacramento and did not regret it at all.
The location can can throw you off. BUT food and service is great. We had team dinner and everyone really enjoyed the food.
Noodle is little bit sticky but staff and counter also kindness
Food is excellent but pricey. Good service and mostly street parking. Crab is excellent!
Food is terrific. Service is wonderful.Waitress Julie is on it. GM David is terrific. Music and location is really cool.
Pricy for what you get. Too many prices are only provided when you ask.
Was at Crustacean’s 2 weeks ago. The food was delicious as always. Roasted Crab, garlic noodles, fried banana, peR salad, calamari. All of it was Outstanding. Trying to make a reservation for tonite, family from out of town. 6:30.
They have a real cook there , everything was great. Hospitality, waiters, and most of all the food, enjoyed my Salmon dinner, wife enjoyed her garlic Crab dinner. Paid a hefty price , but the main thing enjoyable. You pay the price to be the boss. Enjoy
If u love crab, then this is the go to this place. Nice ambiance, ok service, & ok food ... other than the crab a 4 star.
What's not to say...I mean its the infamous secret kitchen ... the crab is delicious and has been for the last 20 years even due to covid still taste the same
The food was delicious, and the service was great. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive throughout our meal. The dessert and nightcap drink menu was well worth a taste. I really enjoyed the Snuggles from the nightcap drinks menu. It was a warm peppermint and chocolate liquor drink that was very sweet and delicious.
Dinner on the roof top excellent
Everything was great. The food and service was amazing. They even gave my son free ice cream. Only downfall is there aren't any free refills which we didn't find out about until the bill came
Garlic noodles are so addictive!! Their Dungeness crab is famous for a reason.
Roasted crab was great but be careful I think they kinda racist. They will must definitely try to get over on you with the baby crab. At $60 a crab you better bring me out a monster.
The crab was subpar and the drinks were weak and skimpy. Paid over $250 and felt like I got robbed. I'm sticking with Thanh Long their food drinks and service it's better. Crustaceans just looks cleaner and more modern
Best roast crab in San Francisco. The dungeness crab is baked in butter and secret herbs recipe. Pairing that with the signature garlic noodle will make a perfect meal.
